   Great restaurant overall but a major mistake was made with order. They topped my Ribeye with Lobster meat instead of the requested crab meat. They made the situation right but still it left a disappointing taste overall. This caliber establishment should take extra care to prevent these such mistakes from happening.

   We had a great experience at Mastro's. The service was excellent. The food was great. And the Butter Cake was like no other. We loved it!

   Steakhouses in Chicago are a dime a dozen which makes it hard to choose one over the other. Mastro’s has never disappointed. They check all the boxes and do so to be among the top 5 in my book. Thanks to the crew there for helping my family get out the door quickly for a play last night!

   Service and meal was excellent, They have a dress code they do not enforce. Sweatpants, and sweatshirts with hats should not be allowed.

   JB the bar manager and Egim the general manager were outstanding! We dine out at Chicago steakhouses often and they made this dinner the best experience! We are definitely coming back.

    We sat down, and it took 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order or brought some bread, despite tons of staff milling around. The food was mostly good, but my steak was overcooked, and for that price it should be right. I asked for MR and got MW. By the time the waiter came back to check on the table, everyone else was almost done with their meals. They remade my steak, but it was way undercooked (room temp) in the middle. I ate it because I was hungry and didn’t want to wait for them to take another try at it. For the price, I expected much better service and food.
