   We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was so good. Great service, good conversation, and the food was great, as usual.

   Everything was amazing! Our server Evan was wonderful, accommodated our seating preference, and was attentive during the entire meal. We were greeted with a complimentary Valentine’s cocktail and amuse bouche prior to our meal. We savored the 3-course menu with amazing appetizers, dined on filet and short rib, and had an amazing, creative dessert. 5 stars all the way, thank you Max’s!

   We had a reservation for the pre-fixe Valentine’s Day dinner. I should have known when the menu was a pre-fixe that the food was prepared in bulk and sat until ready to serve. The meal included an app, the entree and a dessert. The French onion soup was good, but the crab cake was ice cold. Also a weird take on the crab cake as it almost had a Mexican twist to it with corn underneath. The entree we both got was the seafood fradiavlo. The bay scallops, shrimp and lobster were all extremely overdone and chewy. Again, an issue with prefix menus. The dessert was extreme basic but fine. For $89 per person, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. Not worth the price tag. My husband ordered an old fashioned with Makers Mark, I ordered a zero-proof cocktail (splash of juice with soda water and a lime wedge). His old fashioned was $11, a very decent price. My splash of juice with soda water was $10. A horrible rip off for a beverage that tasted awful. Should have stuck with a tried and true Diet Coke for $3 In addition, the “bar manager” was frolicking around the dining rooms offering “complimentary” cocktails to certain tables that were recently sat. We were one of the many tables that were not offered this complimentary cocktail and felt that was fairly rude on the restaurants part. If you’re going to offer a complimentary cocktail, it needs to be across the board and not for just half of the guests. We won’t be returning anytime soon. This restaurant boasts about being fine dining, this experience was far from that

   We ordered drinks and took 20 min to get them round 2 same thing. Ordered apps they were ok. Dinner we both ordered steaks Filet and ny strip both med they came out rare rare Sent them back ny strip came back rare again. 3rd time NO thank you

   Food was outstanding. Buffalo cauliflower and burgers cannot be beat. Party also enjoyed scallops and shrimp. Can't go wrong with any of the offerings.

    Things have changed since Max restaurant group was sold. The fully loaded baked potato used to be a major event when it arrived at the table. It could feed 4 people because it was so massive. Not anymore. The one served last night hardly had anything on it. No sour cream no bacon- three globs of orange cheese and some chives and that was it. Martini was served in a margarita glass? Steak was okay but used to be outstanding and it was overcooked. The tuna was excellent. The wedge salad was not a wedge but on romaine lettuce pieces. This was an odd experience. Staff was helpful and friendly. I hope this review is read and considered. Love the Max restaurants and hope their return to their previous ways.
