   This was my 3rd visit in a few years, so not a regular. Experience was poor overall. It's good to have a full restaurant, but if you can't manage it, don't do it. From the beginning, we made several attempts to summon the waiter to the table, but it took 15 mins to place an order. The waiter didn't bother to tell one of my guests before ordering, that her chosen order was actually no longer on the menu. The bread arrived which was clearly not sourdough as indicated, but part bake baguette. The mains came for 2 of my guests leaving me without food, mine followed 5 mins later. Rookie basics. Fish was poorly presented, with 3 random fried pieces rather than a single fillet. It was oily and tasteless. The other guest had a small fillet of Hake , which appeared to be only one side of the fillet. Not good value. To be fair, my chicken wings were very good. The prawns (if they were prawns), were tasteless and poorly seasoned. No sign of the staff for the whole meal. Disappointing for the price. Will not return.

   We went to McHugh's on a Thursday for a birthday dinner. It was busy but the atmosphere was lovely. Our waitress Mel was lovely and took care of us very well - down to singing happy birthday for my mam which was wonderful! Food was delicious. Thanks to all the staff for making it a lovely experience.

   Food is lovely but need to change the menu it has been the same for a long time very limited for the lunch menu

   A fabulous evening in McHughs. I’d sent a notice that one of the party was allergic to Gluten and without asking or reminding Gluten Free Bread arrived shortly after we arrived along with “normal” bread. The food was delicious and very good value for money. We’ll see you again. Thanks and keep up the great work. Can’t think of our servers name but was excellent.

   Another visit to this absolutely gorgeous little Restaurant. Complements of the highest quality to Simone & Adi for looking after us last Friday evening. I am celebrating my 60th in Mchughes in Raheny and I know the food the staff the atmosphere will be 💯. Thank you 😊 perfect evening 👌🙌

    Great restaurant with friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and food is delicious however a 12 euro supplement for a steak on the early bird / Sunday lunch is a bit steep. 33 for two courses and 37 euro for three courses is good value but since the steak is supplemented it was really 49. Am a regular as I love the restaurant but just giving my opinion.
