   We have gone to Medi several times now, always when friends are in town to visit. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is fun. The service is always top notch.

   Terrible service, nobody even came over for water or to greet us until we finally flagged somebody down and they weren’t even our assigned wait person after 30 min. Food took forever. Will not be returning

   Probably the best steak (tenderloin) kabobs I’ve ever had in my life. Place is a very comfy, local spot, and a quaint restaurant nestled in Lincoln Park. Will definitely repeat.

   My partner and I have been coming to Medí for the past 3 years and service and food have been 5+ stars until today. The quality and taste of food have gone to a complete zero. Drinks were great and so was the hummus. But the steak kabob was cold and dry so was the rice. And the beef shawarma is no longer small pieces that taste like mint. Now is huge steak pieces with no mint and also and so was the dish cold.I didn’t send the food back because the whole staff looked overwhelmed and over worked. And I was starving because it took over and hour to get our entrees out. I miss their old cook this new cook is terrible. Do yourself a favor and skip this place because is not cheap

   the staff are so nice and knowledgable, the food is so good and perfectly portioned for the price point and depth of flavor, the drinks are delicious and there’s something for everyone. and it’s so cute inside. we were first timers and could not recommend it more, it’s a new go-to spot for us!

   Lovely interior with welcoming staff, Kathryn was terrific going above and beyond expectations Food was great taking street food to new levels in presentation and compilation of flavors. Outstanding shawarma wrap and falafel wraps. Try the watermelon salad but beware, they don’t warn of the spicy vinaigrette’s heat. Definitely will come back again. Fun yummy healthy eats.

    This place was at best mediocre. I expected far more. Lamb kabobs were dry and salty, rice was too plentiful, served at room temperature. The sauteed spinach with feta/tomatoes was way heavy on rice, way too sparse for the spinach, feta and tomatoes. Probably the best side dish was the sweet sausage as it was well-seasoned with a nice lemon sauce. Service was virtually non existent. I am guessing our waitress was fairly new or inexperienced.
