Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, decorated with carvings, and statues imported from India. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.
Come enjoy a casual meal with friends or a celebration with your loved ones. Either way, you'll be taken care of by our knowledgeable and friendly team. We take pride in what we serve and how we serve it - Good Food and Great Service. We also offer takeout, delivery, catering and in Jul 2023 we have added Mow, Mehfil on Wheels, a food truck serving Mehfil food. Mow is a regular at the local breweries and can even come in to your neighborhood. Our signature dishes include the lamb chops, goat curry, deluxe mixed grill-an assortment of lamb and chicken seekh kebab, tandoori shrimp and lamb chops. No one does the tandoor as good us and our awards are testimony to that.

Food was superb! Service great. Value very good. Sat in the front of the house with a nice view of the street activity. The noise was loud, but that was due to a table of four in which the individuals spoke very loudly and the sound bounced off the window. Really not in the restaurants control. Next time we will ask to sit in a different part of the restaurant.

The food was ok. Server was fine. Atmosphere was pretty good. Would have given four stars, but we were disappointed in the food.

The food was amazing. Our waitress wasn't great but she was young and seemed to be new (didn't know answered to questions about the menu, etc). We have her grace because serving is done of the most difficult work to do! The delicious food more than made up for it! Where we live there are no really good Indian food restaurants so this was a real treat!

We love Mehfil. The food is always excellent, the ambiance is relaxing, comfortable and decor is very nice especially at the front of the restaurant. Our server was attentive and warm as always. We love supporting this business owner because he is so kind and generous and took care of our community after Helene hit !

The food and service was nothing short of outstanding. The food was perfectly spiced and the heat level was spot on! Our server was attentive and very helpful. I highly recommend Mehfil in Asheville.

Mëhfil is one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently delicious, the owner is always welcoming and the wait staff is super friendly. I come here often and am always greeted with a “nice to see you again”.
