    It is a beautiful restaurant. The service was good. The food was inconsistent. Some was very good, like the arancini, meatballs and bread. The lasagna was very dry.

    Not only, there was no bread on a Friday night at an Italien restaurant, but the wine was overpriced. Got charged $30 for a 9ounce glass of wine, when a 6oz glass was only $18. The bottle of the wine online was $20. Food was bland, had to add salt. Service was mediocre. For the prices, I expected greater value.

    The noise level was far TOO LOUD. the restaurant has move around some furniture and decided the restaurant into 2 different sections. The tables are now closer together. Far too crowded. What happened? Far too noisy and crowded - not at all enjoyable and relaxing as it used to be.

    It was beautiful sitting on Macatto's lovely patio. The server was gracious, personable and attentive without being too attentive. The food came quickly and was delicious

    The service was stellar. Very informative and attentive staff while not being intrusive. Everything was delicious. Was disappointed the appetizer on the board wasn’t available - will come back to try another time. Recommended.

    Always a good meal at Mercatto College Street. This is one of the best restaurants within close walking distance of Queen's Park and the MaRS district.
