   Sonya was amazing! We had the best experience because of her, she took her time to walk us through the menu and was very attentive.

   Great food. But the service was attentive to the point of being overbearing. Our waitress practically read the entire menu to us each time she came by and thanked us so much I started to wonder if business had been bad. There was also some confusion when ordering a bottle of wine.

   Tuna wrap appetizer was scrumptious though could have been a tad bigger: deviled eggs had not much flavor alone Fun atmosphere and vibe, delicious variety of plates, great location

   Fun spot and I’ve dined here before. Very festive spot for the holidays but the service is not a strong suit. Took 15 minutes to get water at the table and even longer for menus. The food came out family style vs courses so some were eating appetizers while others were making room for their dinner plates. Dessert was still frozen cold (banana cream pie) and was a very uneven portion (all banana up front and all cream in the back).

   Great food! Wonderful service. A perfect spot to bring your kiddos along. Very family friendly. It was very loud in there though.

   Our experience at Meril was OK. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Water was brought to our table and we waited about 10 to 15 minutes to have our drink order taken-we ordered our food at the same time. This is a tapas style restaurant. The portion sizes vary immensely between each selection. We ordered 7 tapas for our table of 3. They pretty much all showed up at once- 4 arrived at the same time initially but less then 3 minutes later the rest came. Some were hot some were barely warm. French fries arrived warm not hot and crispy but large size. Cornbread was warm and very tiny but flavorful. Boudin balls were hot, tasty with 3 balls. General Tso’s broccoli was hot, delicious and a nice size serving. Street corn was cool and lacking flavor. Flat bread was cool, cheese was cold, size was good. Cheese burger was normal size and was hot and tasty. We never were asked about a second drink order until our meal was finished . It was busy with families and lots of children-it seems this is the place families come to celebrate a child’s birthday with a large cotton candy for dessert with a sparkler. We ordered the Christmas special dessert of gingerbread ice cream in a cone with a cookie and whipped cream. It was very good. Overall it was good but expensive for average food in a Chuck E. Cheese atmosphere.
