Mermaid Oyster Bar is a family of casually sophisticated seafood restaurants born in New York in 2003.

    Our waitress Rebecca was wonderful, she was attentive to our needs but not hanging over us. We all ordered the fried chicken and it was probably the best fried chicken i have ever had. Only complaint was we couldn’t bring the doggy bag of leftovers into the theater. Hopefully a homeless person is enjoying this fine meal.

    The yellowtail ceviche was to die for…. Everything we ordered was amazing and our server was friendly and accommodating.

    Loved the cocktails..Satine and Pink Flamingo, tuna tartare, oysters from P.E.I. and fried calamari. Will be back here…with friends or even by myself. This place is a keeper!

    Great for a business lunch in Midtown. Something for everyone on the menu, and plenty of items to share. We also love happy hour here.

    Food was better than service on a Sat night. It’s tough to get a good meal before a show in/near Times Square. This got it done. I would try it again. I bet a weekday is a better experience.
