Mesita, which translates to “small table”, serves authentic, modern, Mexican cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere. The menu, created by Chef Antonio Chicas, features fresh guacamole prepared table-side, mouth-watering Mexican street corn, fire-grilled fajitas, along with burritos, tortas, tacos and many other house-made Mexican dishes. The combination of our traditional menu and playful décor with our rustic Mexican flair provides a dining experience that truly embodies the Mexican spirit. Mesita is the newest addition to the Rockville Centre restaurant scene and we are steps away from the LIRR.

Went here on a date. The food was delicious and the portion size was decent. Our drinks were a little too sweet but we managed. My only complaint is that it was very loud and hard to hear

We were seating in the back where it looks like a group was having a Christmas party. We waited over 30 minutes no one came to us I had to flag down a bus boy to ask for a waiter/waitress. After we ordered appetizers our waiter dropped salsa which splashed all over my jacket and my right side body I didn’t even notice it until I was about to go to the bathroom. Then we waited another 30 minutes or so to get our food we were so annoyed our reservation was at 8:15 we got there early like 7:45 and got seated we didn’t get our food until 9:30 horrible customers served. The entire time I had to ask the bus boy for the waiter its like he disappeared. Even to Get our check was a mission we couldn’t wait to leave horrible experience. The food was ok the waiter didn’t even get our order correct but we just left it because we waited so long as it is and we were so hungry.

Always a great experience at Mesita. Jerry, the manager was extremely friendly. Food came out promptly as ordered. Drinks were amazing.

Mesita had a nice change in food, the shrimp tacos were amazing. I’ve had previously but they were on point with pickled onions and sliced Avacado with large shrimps. Our Bartender Will was a pleasure also, great tequila options as well as delicious cocktails . A must in Rockville center.

First time visiting & definitely will be back. Next time we’ll come back for the dinner menu. The food was amazing - very flavorful & filling. The drinks were pretty good too!

We went for brunch. The steak and eggs, churro waffles with chicken, the French toast, and the pineapple coconut drinks are all family faves. We also get the fresh guacamole, street corn, and salsa with warm chips every time. Great food and service (thanks Alejandro!)

This restaurant was very disappointing. The food wasn’t good . The floor was full of food and the service was so so. Definitely not worth a repeat visit
