   I can say we truly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation a week and a half before ahead of time. I was expecting to wait even though we had a reservation. That was not the case. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. She took her time explaining the menu to us. This made our choices so much easier. She was also very attentive to our drinks. The food was amazing. Our appetizer was great. My steak was cooked to perfection. The creamy spinach was enjoyable. It was worth every dollar. I am looking forward to returning.

   The service was incredibly slow. Over an hour to receive our appetizer, 2 1/2 hours to complete the entire pre fix meal. The food was delicious however not worth the time it took.

   This is our favorite gem. We absolutely love the ambience and finest (chef) food. Not to mention the supreme owners and staff amiability is probably the greatest in Amarillo Tx.

   We went to celebrate our anniversary & could not have chosen a better place! The hostess greeted us with Happy Anniversary, our waitress was incredible & served our dessert on a serving board with the words Happy Anniversary, & as we left, the hostess, once again told us Happy Anniversary. The food was phenomenal & the manager made his appearance at our table as well! We will definitely be back to dine here!

   The Metropolitan is a culinary gem! Kudos to the chef. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and friendly. Thanks to Jared for making our dining experience special every time we come.

   Drinks, appetizer and side dish 10 out of 10. Had the 16 oz ribeye and had great flavor and well prepared, only issue the meat was very tough. For a high end restaurant with expensive pricing this is unacceptable. Was really turned off by the bill at the end of the meal suggesting only 20, 25 and 30% tip. We dine all over the country, NYC, KS City, DC, St Louis, and Dallas to name a few. This is the first time I have seen this, and of all places Amarillo Texas. When you are charging $15 for a cocktail that cost you less $5 to make, this is over the top. Other places in Amarillo have much better value. Will be back for drinks but will skip the dinner.

   The Metroplitan has become our favorite place to take guests in Amarillo for a consistently stellar dining experience. The atmosphere is conducive to intimate conversations with a professional wait staff, wonderful drinks and the delightful chef truly seems to care that you enjoy his delicious food when he stops by your table. I love that the sides are big enough to share. It’s a truly unique and hospitable place. Highly recommend!

   My wife and I love the more expanded steakhouse-like menu. There was one mistake - the order ticket was misplaced and so our order was delayed (the only reason some 4-star scores came up), but our waiter and manager jumped in, got our main course to us in good order and insisted on complimentary drinks and dessert. Very well handled for an honest mistake! Great job and we hope to return soon!

    I was greeted at the door and they actually called me by name. The staff was extremely professional and very attentive. The drinks were really good. We had a few different types of cocktails, and the food was just as impressive.
