Nacido en costas oaxaqueñas, el Chef Gerson Madrid experimenta y plasma los colores de los sabores tradicionales, cual pintor a su lienzo y los caracteriza por trazos gruesos de contemporaneidad, llevándonos a través de una aventura de sabores que cuentan con personalidad propia, que nos evocan a nuestra tierra, a nuestra cocina al sur de Oaxaca y a nuestro propio hogar.

We made a reservation with around 2 weeks in advance at 9:30 pm (which was the only spot left), we got there on time and the lady told us that service was already closed, she was really nice and it wasn’t really her fault, but why did the restaurant make a reservation at that time knowing they were gonna be closed? Why weren’t we notified about this in advance? We were excited to go but probably will never try to again just because of this.

Had my birthday dinner yesterday, my first time there, and it was incredible! I had the tartare with grasshopper, tamalitos de frijol with huitlacoche, rib eye tacos with bone marrow, the Don Chente and Del Maizal cocktails (I hope I have the names right) and every single item was delicious, and beautifully plated generous portions. My server was attentive, friendly, spoke to me at length about ferments (one of my favorite subjects!). Highly recommend this restaurant!

El lugar muy agradable la comida excelente muy rico el agua chile y pulpo realmente exquisito el servicio un poco distraído el precio de la comida me pareció muy bien precio calidad felicidades al chef

Don't even bother with this place! No one else was there, restaurant was empty. It was 3 of us that evening. We all got our food cold and was sent back to reheat.. keep in mind it was just us at the restaurant. We ended up leaving as service was slow and food mediocre. The manager was on the phone the whole time, the place is a joke.

We first order appetizers to share, all our items were sent at the same time instead of one at a time. Kitchen closed and our server didn’t let us know and didn’t ask us if we would like to order our main courses. The place was totally dead on a Thursday, on Easter weekend. The entire time we felt as they wanted us to leave so they can close and go home. If this is the restaurants attitude, they shouldn’t take reservations after 8pm. A full dinner usually takes 2 hours. They should know that if we went to a 9pm reservation, we Weill keep ordering food and eating until at least 11pm

Such a wonderful surprise this restaurant was. Designed and styled thoughtfully to embrace the customer in a modern Mexican space. Our host could not have been kinder, positioning fans for our comfort and working through my Spanglish. Then the food arrived. Visually stunning to start, followed by unique and creative flavors. Small dishes with different sauces,small nut bowls, cheese bowl. We will be back. Excellent and 5 star all around. And try their lime water, it is perfection!
