Our Thai restaurant offers tantalizing, authentic flavors balancing fragrant herbs and spices with fresh coconut milk to produce traditional dishes that have made Mezzanine an iconic Tulum spot for the last 20 years. Combine this with sweeping panoramic views of Tulum's beach, relaxed house music, and exceptional service and you have the unmistakable Mezzanine vibe.
We also serve up healthy breakfasts and a casual beach menu.

We are located within a natural area, which requires a fee dedicated to the preservation of flora and fauna. This amount will be deducted from your consumption. Access for combustion vehicles is not permitted; only electric vehicles are allowed. Our parking space is limited, so we recommend contacting us or arriving by taxi or transportation service. Transportation is available within the area to facilitate mobility. General access hours to the natural area are 7AM-5PM; outside these hours, entry is allowed only with reservation.

    Location and view are outstanding. Food was very good with a truly detailed presentation. Service also very attentive. We loved our dinner there and we are hoping to go back! Highly recommended!

    Went to Mezzanine on Christmas eve. The ambiance is really nice, although when there are a lot of people its naturally quite loud. Decor is magnificent. Food is delicious, but a bit on the too spicy side. We had our children with us and they struggled with the spice level. They also were out of spring rolls and all fish, which we had wanted to order. That was disappointing but manageable. The food really is delicious though, the chefs are excellent! The biggest issue though is that we had to wait for nearly 2 hours to get our food. The kitchen was terribly understaffed. Christmas eve, I kind of get it, but it would have been wise to maybe take fewer reservations or at least offer some free drinks. We got none of that, except that our excellent and very kind waiter offered to take no tip. Which made no sense, as he was the one person who did his job really, really well. Overall a very mixed experience.

    When I saw how many 5 Star reviews this restaurant had I couldn’t wait to try it. I am a connoisseur of great quality food with good ingredients and wonderful flavor. The restaurant exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back!

    Fabulous seaside setting, great food and terrific service. The restaurant sits above the beach, with the waves running almost under the deck. The design of the restaurant is both creative and comforting, setting the table, as it were, for the meal. The Thai menu, influenced by the indigenous Maya, is creative and perfectly prepared. The Thai drunken noodles served in a folded leaf, the panang curry coming with a little bowl of a jalapeno cream in case you want to kick the heat up a bit. Service was impeccable. Our server David, assisted by Angel and the rest of the staff, made the meal seamless without intruding on our night. If in Tulum, don't miss eating at Mezzanine.

    One of my favorites into the beach, incredible authentic Thai cuisine excellent selection of wines, delicious, desserts, and our waiter,Andy always takes excellent care of us. Excited to go back, highly recommend !
