   I will never go back. The mariachi band was so extremely loud they hurt my ears, I couldn't hear anybody at the table, and I literally got up and sat near the Hostess until they left into another room because they were so extremely LOUD!!! If you are sensitive to rock bands in bars that play loud music, don't go to this restaurant because you will leave with a headache like I did.

   It was the third or fourth time we’ve eaten here. I have been impressed with how good the food is every time. It might be the best Mexican food in a city full of good Mexican restaurants. Also prices are very reasonable.

    While the overall experience fell short of my expectations, I believe there are areas where this restaurant has room for improvement. I found the service below par, and the food was just average. As a Mexican restaurant, I expected a salsa bursting with flavor. Still, unfortunately, it tasted like a generic store-bought variety, served with chips that seemed fried in old oil. The main factor contributing to my rating today was the lack of attention from our server, who only had two tables to attend to while the rest of the place was empty. Regrettably, I never received my tea with my lunch special. Furthermore, after finishing my meal, I waited for over 10 minutes, hoping my server would bring the check or at least check on us, but she never did. This resulted in me withholding the 40% tip I had initially planned to leave, as I typically appreciate good service and am willing to reward it, even with lower-priced meals. Instead, I left the exact amount on the table and decided not to leave a tip. Considering my experience, I would not personally recommend this place to others. If you're looking for a hassle-free option, I suggest considering Taco Bell or Taco Cabana as alternatives.
