   Well first of all I have eaten at Mickeys Downtown Bistro quite a few times and the one thing that remains consistent is the food. Saturday evening’s they have a DJ so you can dine and dance. Will definitely be going back.

   Fantastic from the beginning to the end! The beautiful, inviting environment, the well seasoned food, exceptional service, the people (young, middle and mature), the theme of the night disco, the dancing and interaction with all; my husband and I had one of the best times of our lives. This place exceeded our expectations.

   My boyfriend and I decided to try Mickey’s Downtown Bistro after hearing good things and wanting to enjoy a piano bar atmosphere. We made a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday night and were promptly seated. However, our experience quickly went downhill from there. Despite being seated right on time, we were left completely unattended for **30 minutes**. The only reason we had water was because the hostess, who seated us, was kind enough to pour some for us. Our server never acknowledged our presence, nor did she bring us drinks or check in. We were surrounded by tables with older patrons, and it seemed like she was focused on them while completely ignoring us. I’ve been a server myself in a college town, so I understand how busy a night can get, but this felt like blatant neglect. After half an hour of being completely forgotten, we decided to leave and head somewhere else. We were disappointed, especially because we were looking forward to a nice evening out. As two 25-year-olds, it felt like we were dismissed in favor of the 65+ crowd, which is disheartening. We always tip well and just wanted a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I’m sure Mickey’s has potential, but the lack of service we received was a major letdown. We won’t be returning.

   There is live entertainment. They are very good and you are still able to have a conversation at your table. Our server was very attentive and helpful. The food is average and over priced. But you do get entertainment.

   Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a great night of entertainment, food and service. We were expecting dueling piano players but instead entertained with a fantastic singer who sang nonstop for the entire time. His repertoire included oldies that was enjoyed by all and even included our wedding song. Dancing and requests were encouraged and enjoyed by all. Staff was friendly and went out of their way for an enjoyable night. Thank you all! We had a great evening.
