   Blatant Racial Discrimination & Arrogant Staff - Avoid MILA Miami Our experience at MILA Miami was absolutely unacceptable due to blatant racial discrimination and appalling service from the entrance staff. Our party of four (all Asian) was already dining inside when two of our male friends stepped outside for a smoke. When they tried to re-enter, the doorman refused to allow one of them back in, citing the dress code because he was wearing casual pants. However, the other gentleman, who was dressed similarly, was allowed back inside without any issue. This was clearly selective enforcement of the rules, and it was obvious that race played a factor in their decision. To make matters worse, the staff member at the entrance--a white man--was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive. He spoke to us in an arrogant and disrespectful manner, making it clear that he had no intention of listening to us or treating us fairly. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive. MILA markets itself as a high-end dining establishment, but if they selectively enforce policies based on race and employ staff who openly treat certain guests with hostility, then this is not a place that deserves anyone's time or money. Discrimination has no place in hospitality, and we strongly urge management to take responsibility for their staff's behavior. Until then, we will never return, and we strongly advise others to avoid this place.

   So many texts about being on time and 15 minute wait period then we wait for 45 minutes for a crappy table against the kitchen. I requested a table in the back room and obviously didn’t get it. Guess if I handed the hostess $50 maybe I’d stand a chance???

   Super awesome! Pretty expensive but everything was super delicious! Sushi rolls were definitely the highlight for us!

   I read great things about the restaurant and was going to Miami for my birthday. The overall service could have been better; the reception person was rude- we arrived on time for my reservation- they asked us to wait at the bar and would let us know when the table was ready. The bar was overcrowded, and there was no place; we stood and waited for the text to let us know the table was ready. When we received the text after about 15 minutes, we had to stand in line again to go and show the reception message about the table. It was jam-packed that night, so I understand the pressure is high. But an apology or sorry for the delay would have been nice when we were finally given a table. Nonetheless, our waiter was terrific and helped us with everything we needed. We tried eggplant maki, potato millefeuille (vegan), truffle cream spaghetti (which we loved), and seasonal wild mushrooms. We tried lavender cream brûle. I liked the potato millefeuille and spaghetti the most. The rest were okay for me! Overall, the guest experience could have been better, rest the restaurant is great, it does get really crowded .

    The entrance was not well managed. People with and without reservation were all cramped up in the tiny reception. There should be some kind of filter downstairs for people without reservation to avoid that kind of situation. The rest was amazing. Food quality 10/10. Service excellent, everyone was very nice and attentive. The music and noise was really loud, we had to shout to hear each other but I think that was part of the experience.
