   Very good food but little tricks from the waitress I believe. Asked if we wanted water and said yes but noticed our bottle was different to the other tables. We got charged for that and realised everyone else would of had table water. Also they added on money for charity. Im happy to help but you cant just add on what you like without asking. Dont think they realised we were locals but for that reason we wont come back.

   Our experience at Mildreds was a total success. One of the best vegan roasts I’ve had so far and just a lovely time overall. The service was impeccable and all the wait staff was super lovely and nice. Would definitely come here again to try out all the lovely food I wasn’t able to eat.

   Jorge is an absolute superstar and made the whole dinner experience a complete delight. The food was amazing and so was the service.

   We went to Mildred’s for lunch today as we haven’t been here for a while. We were disappointed - the quality of food has dropped, my partner had mushroom ale pot pie which was way too sweet. I opted for kiri bodi. It was tasted - it didn’t taste like it used to be. I always had kiri bodi each time I visited Mildred’s as it was tasty, full flavours and packed with vegetables. Unfortunately not this time - it was lack of flavours. Overall was ok.

   The service was very slow - our food took nearly an hour - it was very loud and busy, the food was nice but not worth the high price - overall it was alright.

    Food was great as always, however we were sat next to a table where several people were shouting which was unpleasant to be near. We asked to move but were told there were no other tables. This improved when the party left. Also, my husband informed our server he was diabetic when we were sat down and needed to time his medication with when he eats so asked for a rough estimation of the wait. We were told 15-20 mins, but were sat for over 90 minutes before our mains arrived. When we asked our server for an update on the wait a few times, she told us “I’m busy and don’t have time”. Another male server was more helpful and brought my husband some bread as he had already taken his insulin and needed food to avoid becoming hypoglycaemic. There seems to be a lot of attention on allergies, but staff are obviously not as aware of diabetes, a condition intrinsically linked with food, which is disappointing. We appreciate the restaurant was very busy and the impact this has on staff, but the service was not good enough when spending over £100 on dinner for 2.
