Established in 1982 and named after the Min River in the Sichuan province of China, the Min Jiang restaurant is renowned for serving some of the best Chinese cuisine in Singapore.

This award-winning restaurant has a contemporary Oriental appeal with elegant furnishings, polished wooden floors and a classy muted colour scheme. The warm lighting accompanied by soft background music makes for an ideal setting for a cosy and intimate meal. For guests who prefer to dine outdoors, there is an alfresco dining terrace next to the hotel’s main pool. The six private dining rooms are perfect for private business meals, social gatherings and even small weddings.

Min Jiang features a repertoire of popular Sichuan and Cantonese dishes as well as a delectable dim sum selection served on trolleys for lunch daily.

The service is very good. Staff can remember us & our preference. Price are also reasonable in terms of fine dining.

ランチに伺いました。飲茶も炒飯もおいしかったです。ワゴンサービスはなく、テーブルでオーダーする形でした。娘が途中体調不良になってしまったのですが、スタッフの方に助けていただきました。そのせいで最後のデザートはゆっくりできませんでしたが、ボックスにフルーツを詰め替えていただいたのでホテルに戻ってから食べることができました。

I had very high regards for Min Jiang all along. We had always enjoyed meals there but our last visit this year was very disappointing with poor service and poor food too especially for the lobster and crab.

We have always gone to Min Jiang, especially when we have overseas guests. This time our experience was not so good. The service level was very poor - we had to keep calling for service and were told several times to "wait" while the lady seated incoming guests. There was only one other wait person there and she didn't fully understand us. Very sad that this is restaurant has changed for the worse.

昔のようなワゴンサービスはごく一部であとはオーダーする方式になっていました。地元の人が多いので、安価で美味しいです。日本語を話す親切な女性がいて、色々教えてくれました。

Waitress did not extend a warm or sincere welcome; not even a morning greeting on our arrival. I had to walk with the waitress to a counter to check on reservation and then walk back to a table for 2. On seating we were not offered any choice of menu but we told the waitress that we wanted the tim-sum set for 2. Food quantity was sufficient for the 2 of us. But there was nothing nice in taste expected of the restaurant. I could get similar food from the kopi-tiam which would be much cheaper and probably more delicious. Overall a disappointment to be at Min Jiang for tim-sum

I have been before on several occasions and always enjoy the dim sum. This time was Sunday and very busy hence service a little slower perhaps. Food was up to usual high standard. Only negative was the table for two in dingy corridor just past reception desk - hence lower score for ambiance this time

If you don’t mind the sulking face or the very annoyed face from the staff with poor attitude, this would be a nice place to go for some descent dim sum.
