Mita's, the second restaurant from acclaimed Chef Jose Salazar, is named after his Colombian grandmother - his "Mita." The beautiful 130 seat restaurant designed by MSA Architects is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Fifth and Race Streets on the ground floor of the 84.51 Building. Mita's eclectic, farm inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America, with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates.

    It was a lovely dinner before going to see a show at the Aronoff. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed!

    Beautiful decor and upbeat music. Service was friendly and timing was perfect. The menu has a nice range of choices to please any palate. Don't be afraid to try new things here as everything is delicious!

    We love this restaurant and finally got around to trying the paella. It was the best ever!! The most fabulous, flavorful, perfectly spiced rice, mixed with chorizo, moist chicken, jumbo shrimp, octopus, and clams . I can’t wait to go back and have it again! Plus, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the ambience warm and welcoming. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in town!!

    This was our third time dining at Mita’s. We opted for Chef’s choice and each dish brought out delicious. Chef Salazar came out at the end to check in with us. Could not have been more happy!

    The food is always amazing at this restaurant. Finally tried the Paella it was so delicious. Our table had a great evening. We really appreciated Chef Salazar stopping by the table to check on our experience. Hands down tonight was the best service and experience we have ever had at Mitas. What a way to end the year. Cheers and hoping for a wonderful "New Year " Thanks
