Mita's, the second restaurant from acclaimed Chef Jose Salazar, is named after his Colombian grandmother - his "Mita." The beautiful 130 seat restaurant designed by MSA Architects is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Fifth and Race Streets on the ground floor of the 84.51 Building. Mita's eclectic, farm inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America, with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates.

    The food is consistently excellent and very creative. The servers work as a team to keep the caravan of small plates coming on time. We older folks appreciate the choice of booth seating, as the noise level can be high. We also like that the parking garage is in the same building given the center city location.

    Great food and top notch service. We were going to the theatre after so had a deadline. Food was perfectly timed and so delicious. Wait staff made wonderful recommendations.

    Truly the best meal I’ve had since moving to the Cinci/NKY area. Service and food were both unbeatable, and the menu is so diverse!! Beautiful interior as well. Our server, Gracen, was so knowledgeable of the menu and made excellent recommendations. 100% will be back!
