Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman is a place where foodies, beer lovers, and families escape the stresses of their day to day lives by enjoying an ice cold beer and a great meal while surrounded by people who consider them honored guests and friends.

Our restaurants are founded upon a passion for craft and we are dedicated to mastering the craft of food, drink, and merrymaking…with Aloha! Our menu features fresh island fish, hand tossed pizzas from our kiawe wood burning oven, and homemade pies made from scratch.

Thirty-six craft beers served at twenty-nine degrees are on tap, representing the coldest beer and best selection of microbrews on the island. Our culinary cocktails feature unique ingredients such as acai spirit, coconut water, and Kula lavender. Our passion for craft also extends to our diverse wine list, which emphasizes sustainability, drinkability and fun.

    We had a great dining experience here. We were staying at Aulani and needed to break out :) so we walked across the street and dinner was excellent, including the service. We had the sweetest waitress named Courtney who made sure my little girl was comfortable ❤️ our fav was the banana cream pie at the end!!

    The food was absolutely perfect. The lamb chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly, my girlfriends steak was exactly the way she ordered it and the sides that came with the main course were absolutely top tier!

    i'm used to dining at expensive restaurants and I am not a cheap person and I have eaten at monkey pod probably 20 times in my life in Maui and this was a ridiculous experience the food was the size of appetizers and it is the worst value for a meal and I would urge anybody to simply go to Costco and make your own food. The lineups outside dictate that monkey pod isn't the least bit interested in value and simply gouging tourist. The receptionist are hostess was extremely rude even though we had a reservation. Take your money elsewhere I am not a picky person but this was terrible value

    Very good meal and nice ambience. Very personable waiter and kind service staff. The Mai Tais were excellent! We had the Aji tuna steak, which was very flavorful and well cooked. We also had a Moroccan lamb sausage pizza, which was quite good. The prime rib was a solid good. The Caesar salad and the mixed greens were delicious. Overall, a really nice meal with good ambience and a relaxed setting that exceeded my expectations. Pricey but consistent with the area and food in general these days.

    The food here was good, not great. And the value is just not there. At $25 for a fish sandwich or $27 for fish tacos, it would be nice if these plates came with a side. This seems like a restaurant that is resting on its laurels because they will always have a captive audience of Ko Olina guests - no need to continue to strive for excellence. Somewhat disappointed compared with experiences here in years past.
