Like the swallow, we travel far and wide to curate beloved Italian recipes that have meticulously been passed down for generations and bring them home. Fresh, natural ingredients are carefully calibrated and prepared, to deliver a nostalgic journey of Italy’s most cherished culinary traditions.

Founded and kneaded to life in 2021 by Hamad Bin Fares and Mohamed Al Shamsi, two Emirati pilots who fell in love with Italy and its invitingly heartwarming cuisine; Monno is an expression of all that’s good and warm.

I went there with high expectations but ended up with an average experience. The starters, including the bruschetta and polpetta, were below par and could be improved, though the fig salad was an exception and tasted good. The ravioli and tortellini were both good, and the Tagliata steak was just okay. While the service was quick and the staff friendly, the overall experience felt underwhelming, with the food quality/taste not justifying the high price.

An amazing selection of authentic Italian food! Service was great, food was very tasty - especially the burrata pizza and parmigiana! Part of restaurant week - a good deal for lunch!
