Mooncusser offers a "wonderful" dining experience with innovative, complex flavors and "stellar" service. The modern, upscale ambiance is ideal for special occasions, though noise levels can be high. Be mindful of spicy dishes.

I loved my experience at Mooncusser. The tasting menu was fun and innovative. The wine pairings were at times funky but spot on and wonderful. The Mezcal cocktail was smoky and delicious. My bartender/server Grant made the whole night even more special with his menu descriptions and conversation. Highly recommend!

Overall I have no complaints. Great atmosphere, great service and the employees were excellent. I had very high hopes for this meal. Reading reviews and hearing recommendations are what got me to book the reservation the first place. Under seasoning, randomly placed raw herbs, odd portion size and misplaced spices turned me off to a second visit. I agree that this is being a little overly critical but to spend 300$ on dinner and tip I couldn’t help but feel a little let down. Either way it was a good experience overall, but temper your expectations if you’re hoping for a very high end culinary seafood experience.

Quality of the food was fantastic but food took a while to come out - pace was too slow. Seemed to be understaffed.

We chose Mooncusser to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and it was very special experience. We enjoyed all courses of the 5-course prix fixe, but especially the toor dal soup and the hake with broccolini, clam sauce, lemon bread crumbs. Service was perfectly paced, friendly and generally invisible when it should be. The upstairs room is cozy but airy, with perfect lighting and unique artwork on the walls. I am looking forward to going back when a new menu is available!

Great food great service in a very calm ambiance. Going to the restrooms is an unpleasant experience. The elevator takes forever and if you decide to take the stairs you can see the kitchen and it is not a kitchen that is meant to be open.

Every dish was excellent. The wine pairing was very thoughtful and introduced us to delicious wines we wouldn’t have picked off a shelf. Service was perfect and the timing of the courses was comfortable. We left wanting to go back tomorrow. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience! We went for dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday and really enjoyed it. The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. The cocktails, wine, and beer were great. (Props for carrying some nice local/regional beers.) Service was friendly and prompt. I enjoyed the prix fixe and that there were some options for certain courses. It was definitely on the expensive side, so I would reserve this kind of meal for a special occasion.
