   Ordered 2 steaks. Mine was under cooked for what I ordered but I ate it anyway, the other steak was a bad cut, it came back out waaay over cooked and sent back the 3 rd steak was waaay under cooked and the 4th attempted was also way under cooked and had a cold to the touch center, it had to be boxed up and taken home to be cooked at this point in the night. For $225 in two steaks please have someone in the kitchen that knows how to cook a proper steak to order, its literally what you guys do for business. A free piece of key lime pie does not make the ruined experience worth it. Waitress was great and the bread was good lol

   I decided to have our weekly date night at Morton’s The Steakhouse, downtown West Palm Beach. The ambiance was romantic and an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Our server Annette was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. Our cocktails were perfect , and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.

   My husband and I had no problem booking a same day reservation on Monday evening for dinner. We had never eaten here before, this was one of the steak houses recommended on our visit. Our service was superb, Gabriel was pleasant, knowledgeable, and quick to serve us. Bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. Caesar salad was perfect, the croutons were light and not too crunchy. We both got filets medium cooked. My husbands 12oz seemed more medium-rare, my 8oz seemed slightly medium-well. We enjoyed them regardless. I ordered mine with crab/asparagus enhancement and honestly would do without it or on the side in the future. My husband got a jumbo shrimp enhancement that was good. We had Gouda as gratin potatoes that were super good and cheesy. We were too full to try any dessert. Our drinks were pretty good also, average old fashioned and tasty non alcoholic cocktail. They went over the top for us and got us a picture taken and printed for free. Also a loaf of their delicious appetizer bread to take home. We’d recommend this please. Thanks Gabriel and chefs.

   The steak was over cooked. The baked potato skin was hard and chewy ! Ordered a bottle of wine the vintage was 2017 and the one they had was 2022. Big gap 5 years. Maybe is time to update the wine menu.

   Our server, Lacey, was wonderful however the steak I ordered was dry and tasteless. I ordered the butcher’s cut dry-aged ribeye Pittsburgh style MR and it first came out raw (blue) in the middle so I had to send it back however it was very disappointing. I’ve ordered it before at the same Morton’s and they’ve done it beautifully. Maybe the chef was new and didn’t understand how to do Pittsburgh Style correctly.

    The stars mainly go to the server, she was clearly having a busy night but deserves her praise because she got the job done. I understand Valentine’s day is a super busy night, we expected to wait, but not a 50 minute wait when we had a reservation. 9:30 reservation, we got seated at almost 10:45 pm. Ate an OKAY steak dinner at 11 pm. Not okay. The plating was messy and sloppy, had to send my steak back because I guess they didn’t know how to properly make a medium well steak. And overall for it being a high end restaurant and us paying a $230 bill, they need to do better. I get things get crazy, but like I said the expectations are higher when you decide to claim your restaurant as a higher end steakhouse charging almost $80-100 for a steak alone. Disappointed is an understatement! Our waitress was the sweetest though and did all she could for us in that moment so we appreciate you Enette!
