   Sunday nights are always fun at Mulligan’s! The band is great, and there is dancing and good vibes all around. We are fortunate to have such a great venue to be able to sit outside on the patio and watch the sunset while surrounded by great music and good people is a rare thing. The shepherds pie and bangers and mash are always a hit, and my son raves about the chicken sandwich. Highly recommend this for lace. Aloha!

   Gentle breezes and a perfect meal!!! . Open air style restaurant. Love it! We went for Happy Hour and I had the Fish & Chips. The beer battered fish was perfect! Moist inside and a slight crispness outside. My husband had the Shepards pie amd it was delicious. Our server was attentive and very nice. We will be back soon.

   My ribs were a little overcooked and dry. The mai tai was mediocre. On a positive note they seated us where we wanted and the server was very nice.

   We were seated right away on the outside deck which in lovely and served some water and menus . Our server returned and took our drink orders and gave us some time to think about our dinner selections . My wife ordered shepherds pie and I had the fish tacos . A different server came by with our food in about 5 minutes . The dish of shepherds pie was burning hot right from what I’m guessing was the microwave with no greens . My fish tacos were ok but very basic but did have some flavor. Then the band came on cats scratching on a chalk board about sums it up . Essentially it’s old style food and would be a fun place to see a good band and dance . They do have a happy hour but again it’s the old coconut prawns and all the other old tired standards . On the bright side our server was very engaging and let us know about other entertainment they have had and showed us a video of part of the show . I would go back for the right act for drinks and dancing.

   Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. The whole restaurant was filthy, the doors, the floors, tables & silverware. The food was soggy and the ahi was obviously old. The service was very slow, others were complaining even though there was only 3 tables to be served. I even saw the bartender wipe his sweat dropped brow with a rag, rub his nose then continue to make drinks without washing his hands. Needless to say we left as soon as we paid our bill, after having to ask for it. We won’t be back.

   First time at Mulligans. No one at the front. Took 5 minutes to get sat. Wanted to watch the game. Live music so we got sat at a table outside the bar, which turned out to be the employee smoking section. After meeting our server and getting recommendations and “we’ll start with water” server never came back. He walked around the bar several times and attended to a few other tables. After 15 minutes we got up and left and got a “ sorry” from our server as we walked out. Nope, I’m sorry…we’ve been to Maui many times and will be back many more. Just not to Mulligans. I’m sure it’s really good food…too bad we never got to order let alone eat.

   We are full time residents of Maui and this was our first time trying Mulligans. It’s on the Blue Course and is a little tricky to find. Plenty of parking and just a little bit of a climb up the hill from parking lot. Could use a little bit of lighting on steps at night. Tables and chairs are a little lacking in high end quality and are folding banquet tables and folding chairs you’d see at the kids table for Thanksgiving. So it’s good for a quick bite - but butt hurting after 30-45 mins for me 😜 Overall, it was a great choice out for good prices and we will definitely come back soon. Server and service was definitely above average; but they needed at least one more server for a Saturday night with live music. It just took a little time to get served. Still great service and loved our server (whose name we forgot but was born on Borneo). We had the coconut shrimp which you could tell was made on site and not out of a freezer bag. They were good. We also had the fish and chips which were good, but not amazing. The Guinness Beef pie however; was a home run and really tasty. I’ll get that again next visit. We then closed with the Apple Pie. It was not too sweet and was delicious. You can taste the clove and cinnamon mix which was great. Overall - we will come back soon!

   The burger was terrific. The short ribs were tender and tasty. Service was excellent. We went to hear music and really enjoyed our evening.

   The patio has a lovely view, but if you’re there for a show, you would possibly want to be inside.

    The blackened mahi mahi was delicious. Matthew provided great service. We had so much fun dancing to the Island Soul band. It was a beautiful atmosphere with a great view.
