   Made reservations on the 24th for 730 pm. On the 26th.Called to verify on the 26th and said they had us down . Show up at 705, they were busy as it was their 40 yr anniversary with special pricing and hence the reservations. We're told we didn't have reservations but they would put us in. Did not get a call or notification that a table was ready until we asked again at 830, mind you ,there were empty tables. Were told they were out of Prime rib, which we had came for. Server was nice and attentive, food was slow in coming out but good. They were getting ready to close a bit after 9 when we finished and most of the restruant was cleared out by the time we left. Will not be going back.

   We made reservations weeks in advance for their 40th anniversary. They were busy but seated us shortly our reservation time. Our server was great and he let us know immediately that they were out of prime rib already. Which, unfortunately, was what we had gone there for. We were also under the assumption that they would be serving their regular menu but they were not, which left our options minimal. Our steaks were over cooked (medium when we ordered rare) but seeing as the kitchen was way behind we opted to just eat them rather than wait more. We appreciated the candidness of our server regarding the prime rib and the kitchen delay, although it would have been nice had the hostess let us know because we probably would have gone elsewhere.

   Reservations at 6;45, not seated until after 7. Took another 15 minutes for waiter to come to table to take order. Had to order drinks and entrees at same time. Took over an hour for food to come out.

   We had a lovely experience at Murphy’s 40th anniversary jazz night. It was packed so it took a bit longer to get our food, but our waiter was great and we enjoyed all of our food. Thank you for a great evening!

   We understand it was a special anniversary night at Murphys. It was very busy. We ordered appetizers and dinner at the same time. Appetizers came to the table in a timely manner. We waited for over 1 1/2 hours for dinner that never came. So we left disappointed.

   We dined with 2 other couples and very much enjoyed the margaritas and the ribs. Two of our table mates had the catfish which they said was wonderful.

   The addition of the band was more distraction than a benefit. The volume made it nearly impossible to converse. Hardly a quiet and relaxing dining experience. We prefer to actually hear the people we are sitting across from.

    The overall dining experience was good, although there were a few small issues that we experienced. My wife asked our server 3 times to bring some lime slices for our glasses of water. This was a special anniversary event that was happening at Murphy's to celebrate their 40th year in business. I think the staff and servers needed to be better trained for the events offerings. This event started on February 26, 2025 and ends of March 2, 2025, so I am sure by the end of the event it will go more smoothly. We ordered 2 appetizers, one of the appetizers never got delivered to our table (which we finally ended up cancelling) and the other came with our meal. The event was offering a free Murphy's logo anniversary glass if you spent $30 or more. We did spend more than $30, but I was never offered the anniversary glass. ! finally had to ask the manager on site for our glass.
