The temaki rolls are fantastic but the appetizers are very skippable. I had the mushroom dip that everyone raved about and it was good, but not at that price point. The fries were fine, fun twist on normal fries but they're fundamentally not great fries. Too thick for my liking and not crispy enough. Highly recommend the spicy lobster and tofu chimichurri temaki rolls. The maitake truffle was also good. The toro + scallion is subtle but great, and the red crab california tasted very fresh and mild while the cucumber added a nice crunch. Tuna poke tastes exactly as it sounds and had a nice crunch to it as well. The coconut shrimp was good, but I would try something else next time. Nice, sleek interior, but man those chairs are uncomfortable. The seating arrangement nearly gave me back pain and already gave me neck pain. I guess that helps with fast turnover. If you're lucky enough, try to snag a table instead of the counter.

Seats are too tight, kept asking us to shove and move. Host wasn’t the friendliest. Food was creative but not all tasted great. Not as great as the hype.

Great place for sushi lovers to experience raw in a different format. $24 Uni imported from Japan 🇯🇵 was worth every yen 💴😋

Loved all the temaki we ordered. Ingredients were so fresh and the combination of flavors worked very well. Nori chips are an absolute must. Would suggest going during less busy times, maybe for a late lunch.

The only reason for the 1 star off is that we were automatically booked a “temaki counter experience” but it wasn’t really easy to see what was happening behind the counter and the chefs didn’t make a point of interacting (totally fine — focus on making our food!). We would’ve honestly preferred just sitting at a table.
