   Excellence does not necessarily mean fancy, in this case its in execution with simplicity and clarity. The ambiance at New Beige is homey, casual and on a Friday had a lively energy. There is a small retail market incorporated into the space. The food - oh my, it's a tightly focused menu which I love to see. Excellent salad and fried calamari starter. Individuals in my party all ordered different things on the menu and we were all very happy. I can't wait to come back.

   This has quickly become one of our favorites! It’s adorable, focused on local businesses, has great choices from sit down dinner to grab and go. Service is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. Prices are great and food is delicious.

   New Beige is offering a dinner for two special and my friend and I decided to meet and eat! Excellent value with wonderful options to choose from. Love New Beige for cocktails and food, coffee too. My ONLY complaint (& I do mean the only criticism I have) is I wish the lighting was more kind or dimmed. Every time I have been there it is just so bright. Would make for a better vibe if the lights were dimmed and the music was more chill or lounge-y. I will always return. Even though.

   Small but with a good number of tables near the front entrance, plus bar seating. Very casual but the food was very good and our server, Bella, was friendly and excellent. I enjoyed a draft beer that I hadn’t previously had and my spouse had a glass of wine she enjoyed while we waited (not very long!) for our meals. There were a number of interesting food entrees that I must return to try. The decor is a tribute to New Bedford heritage including the recent importance of the offshore wind industry, which I found interesting. In cold weather, I will worry about a icy draft if you sit near the entrance as the place was quite busy but small and you may need a light jacket or sweater
