We love Nice Matin! We go for special occasions or just when we want to treat ourselves. So we were super excited to go for our Christmas Eve dinner and take advantage of the wonderful prix fixe menu they'd advertised! When we got there, they said that menu was only for Christmas Day. So we opened the website up and showed them the big "Christmas Eve Prix Fixe" in bold print, below which was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day hours. In the fine print it said Christmas Eve was the ala carte menu and daily specials, which we had taken to mean the Prix Fixe, since it was a sub-head of what was above. The people at the table next to us had come with the same impression. But the server and host both said we'd read it wrong. So we were super disappointed and felt they'd really made a huge error in marketing. That said, we enjoyed our meal, as we always do. It wasn't the best we've had there, but we were not able to judge properly. We'd still recommend it, just be vigilant on special occasions to make sure they're serving what they say they're serving. I do notice they seem to have changed the way the New Year prix fixe is advertised. It's much clearer, so they clearly have had other complaints.

We were seated right away. Our waiter was knowledgeable and charming. Coctails and dinners arrived right on time and both were delicious.

Fantastic, friendly bar with great cocktails prior to our dinner reservation. Cozy, stylish room; attentive, friendly service; delicious food including hearty vegetable soup, wonderful, simply composed salads, and terrific fish and poultry entrees. Large portions and well priced. A lovely experience as a starter for the holiday week!

What a nice dinner. Place is very cute. Was sitting near an area where the staff prepped things. So plenty stopped and chatted near our table. Was not a fan of that. Also was not a fan of the squash risotto. Too sweet and too earthy at the same time. Not a great combo. We swapped out for the escargot that was amazing. Waitress was adorable and very knowledgeable. Would go back again however I would skip the risotto.
