Very interesting experience. The food was a bit out there, which was cool, but I would have liked a dessert that was a bit more decadent.

A interesting restaurant boasting a dessert tasting menu, the presentation of which was exceptional. However, the flavour profile left alot to be desired. The drink pairings while affordable were hit and miss. I definitely would have paid double or triple in order to have more exceptional drink offerings. The biggest issue is the flow and tempo of the meal. You are put through 8 plates in just an hour. The feeling is beyond rushed and doesn’t provide time for more understanding of the food pretested to you. Service is good, nothing wrong, however not to the standard of most tastibg menu restaurants. They are extremely accommodating for any requests or restrictions you have, so do not shy away for that. Over all it’s fun experience with loads of potential if they fix their tempo it would be the biggest positive impact they could do.

Great dessert, great ambience and tremendous service. For me and my wife, it was too much dessert. The chef and staff did a great job of their presentations, service, as well as the information they provided about each dessert course. In our opinion, the experience would be better if the 90 minute session started with a few light appetizers followed by a 3-4 dessert courses.

We had our anniversary here and couldn't be happier. While it was only a small group at the early dining I couldn't see the staff leaving anyone feeling overlooked. They were all attentive and made for, yes it's over used today but this is where it needs to be used, an experience, not just a meal. My only concern is how I'm supposed to top this for our next anniversary. Thanks so very much.

Nicosi is a unique concept “dessert for dinner” Destination offering an 8-course dessert with 2 courses each on the themes of savory, acid, bitter and sweet. Kudos to the Emmer & Rye group for giving us this amazing experience. Maximum of 20-people. No phones, no photos - just amazingly creative dishes and the opportunity to interact with the chefs and those around you. Two seatings a night. Don’t miss it.

It was a great valentine’s day experience. They accommodated for my vegan partner’s dietary restrictions very creatively and we are looking forward to coming again next quarter for their new menu with friends & family.

From entry to exit, Nicosi is nothing short of an experience that will transport you and your taste buds to an entirely different world. The setup and layout of the space set the chefs up for center stage, where you can admire their precise placement and plating of each dish before serving you. The storytelling of each dish and how it plays on your palate is truly art. Chef Tavel and his team made an incredible space to indulge in the culinary curiosities you wouldn’t believe are available in San Antonio. The worst part is when it’s all over. The experience and ambiance are so amazing that you won’t want to leave! 12/10, highly recommend!
