   Wonderful staff and warm, fun atmosphere. Really good food and fun specials on the menu. The fish dishes were especially great and prepared perfectly. We had a great time and will visit again. The only downside are the very expensive non-alcoholic drinks. I'm sober and being charged 8 euros for a glass of lemonade (same as for a whisky drink) crosses the line from "pricy" to "disrespectful". But that's a minor gripe.

   We loved it! Niko felt like an authentic Japanese experience. From eating delicious, fresh and authentic food by plate at the counter, to the kind service…even the TOILETS were Japanese! We will definitely be back. It was perfect for a date. 🥰

   It was my 2nd time there, table reservation made 2 weeks in advance to dine with my good friend, my first time there was blissful and happy, I wanted to repeat the experience. We ordered drinks that were a ginger highball, drinks were very thick and felt like an alcoholic ginger smoothie. I asked about it as in Japan it is the most basic and easy whisky ginger ale on ice, here it was undrinkable. The way the bar/stuff/chefs responded to me was extremely rude and misogynistic. First reaction was to put another paper straw in my drink(i removed the first one as my drink came with it opposed to my friend’s (male) same drink that came without. Later on I tried to talk about a drink quality and ask them to do something about it or make us a new one, another guy came around to ask me “what is it that you are demanding?” We canceled the rest of our order and left the restaurant prematurely, it is really sad that the situations like this happen in a place that used to offer a really chill and quality experience.

   Man hat wirklich das Gefühl, wieder in Japan zu sein. Dort finden Sie authentische japanische Izakaya-Kultur. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
