   Amazing, as always. Our server may have been having a bad night, but she was still great. The server who took over for her was exceptional as were the hosts, bussers and expeditors.

   usually everything is great here. But an off night. Slow slow service, food came out cold (a hot dish - twice). Had to tell server forgot one dish.

   I recently dined at Nobu with my wife. Food was good, bartenders were good. My disappointment was with the choice of Japanese dishes in the food menu. Most of the choices were glorified appetizers charged at entree prices. If you come to Nobu on an empty stomach, you’ll be disappointed here. I was better off dining at Benihana, Hibachi or other Japanese restaurants. Sorry.

   All the best sushi beautifully prepared and served. Love the little silver sake pot dispensers. Great place to celebrate any birthday or event.

   Not what you would expect from Nobu... I made my reservation weeks in advance in advance with much anticipation over dining again at a Nobu restaurant. Before our reservation time at 5:15 the restaurant called to notify us they had a second seating and we would have to be done with dinner by 6:30. Not unusual, but they were very direct on the phone about it. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were reminded again of this at reception. The reception staff was generally unfriendly and with the deliberate reminders of our time made us feel bit unwelcome. We were one of the first groups there and few were sat at the worst table in the place. We requested a different table and were told no. The service from then on was inconsistent with our orders coming fast then slow, the waitress would be present then gone for long periods. Our food came out in spurts and someone was always hovering to clear dishes before were finished. The service was so inconsistent that dinner lasted until 7:10 PM, well beyond their limit and totally their fault. We were very dismayed when 7 PM came and there were open tables and no one waiting to be seated. The service was rushed and chaotic and the experience for us was disappointing. The food was good but missing the service and the special introduction to dishes and wait staff help Nobu is known for. The restaurant is located in the Tennis Garden grounds and you are not allowed to enter there grounds before 5PM. The area directly in front of the restaurant on the second floor was dirty and uninviting. This is hardly the experience you would expect when spending $$$ for a nice meal.

   As we were seated, the hostess announced (not very graciously) that we had a ninety minute limit on the table because she had a second seating. We then waited 25 minutes for our drinks and to place our orders (we only got the drinks at 25 minutes because we asked about them). Needless to say we felt too rushed to enjoy the food or restaurant and given that the bill was >$300 for two people, I'd say that was pretty unacceptable. If we hadn't been rushed, I would have rated the restaurant differently.
