I will start by saying I was worried the food would not live up to my expectations, however that was not a problem at all. Some of the freshest and best executed dishes I have had. The prices add up quick, but once we were done with the meal it was worth every penny. Favorite dishes included: yellowtail jalapeño, chilean sea bass, ribeye with truffle butter and the mango kakigori shaved iced is a must. The tuna tacos were small but good as well. Server was very attentive without being pushy which was appreciated since we were there closing on a Sunday night. Will definitely visit again when in the Newport area.

First time trying with friends. I wish the drinks would have been garnished properly. If your paying that much for a drink least you can do it make it pretty. Also felt a little rushed between ordering.

My experience was excellent! The entire staff and our server were very attentive and friendly. I haven’t done much fine dining but they definitely set the bar for me! I’ll be back!

Let’s start with the good. Always and consistently fresh and good. The temperature of the food is pretty close to perfect. The service is a little snooty, shouldn’t EVER be snooty. Lots of slang is used as we were asked questions, I’m definitely a foody and a traditionalist. The temperature in the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. While it’s understandable to have your doors open when you have a view like that, you should absolutely make accommodations to make sure people feel comfortable inside. If they crossing their arms and rubbing them, perhaps turn down the air conditioning.

It was a good experience for the Hype of being at Nobu, but the food was not exceptionally good, the martini was too sweet and the prices were too high Would not go again

The scallops had sand in it but the restaurant insisted that it's the black pepper inside. They didn't really take any of this seriously and had a good laugh about it. We've been to other Nobu locations and have to say this one didn't live up to it's standard.
