   Our first time here and it was amazing! The service was outstanding - made the experience wonderful. The menu is a perfect combination of choices for each course. The hand made and wood oven pizza, branzino, and chicken Melanese were all done to perfection! We have already booked our next reservation!

   Good service but food was mediocre at best. Rigatoni was bland. My daughter’s kids bolognese was better but still not Ritz Carlton worthy.

   I had the pasta with clam sauce . Every clam in the shell had a ton of sand in them .yuck

   We had relatives from Switzerland visiting and we thought we could impress them with a visit to the Ritz. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as expected due to the poor service. The restaurant was not very busy but the service and the attitude of our server was very poor. We mentioned this to the manager but she did not try to compensate us for it in our bill. We have eaten at Nolita and Sofra before and the service was excellent. Since it is the Ritz you expect excellent service every time especially because of the price you are paying.

   We opted for the Passport Special-a 3 course meal. I had the Panzanella Salad and OMG! the Tomatoes were absolutely amazing in flavor, they were heirlooms and tasted like they came right off the vine! The salad was complemented with slivers of Fresh Cucumbers for a nice added crunch, served with light & crispy Focaccia Croutons and topped with a perfectly seasoned Italian Dressing. My husband ordered the Prosciutto & Melon Salad it had thin mandolin strips of fresh sweet Cantaloupe & Honey Dew Melon, served with a creamy Burrata and slices of smoked Prosciutto. We both ordered the Chicken Milanese which was a lightly breaded seasoned super tender Chicken Breast accompanied by a scrumptious Caper Butter Sauce. Our dessert was the Limoncello Cheesecake, it was good but needed a little more distinct Limoncello flavor. Our server was Rena (from Peru I believe) she was excellent-good service, friendly and efficient. Our water glasses were always filled and she acknowledged our special occasion, (she deserves a raise! :))

    Not impressed. The Borollo wine we ordered was stale and tasted like vinegar since it came from an already open bottle which obviously had been sitting for quite some time. When we replaced it with a Pinot Noir, same thing - came from an open bottle. While slightly better, one expects MUCH better from the Ritz. Bar manager needs to be admonished. Would not recommend this restaurant.
