   Overall 2 stars for several reasons: Food: menus should be clearer as to what the Italian name of a dish means. The lasagna was the worst thing on the planet. The menu doesn't say 'bianca al forna' is made with a heavy garlic cream sauce. It doesn't say anything close to that. My guest can't eat creamy foods so the dish was a complete failure, ruined the experience and wasted money. The blob of shredded short rib on top is unappealing. Service: While better than the lasagna, guests should have to ask for things that are common accompaniments to dishes, or ask for water refills. We had to ask for water refills after the table next door was served water refills. My pasta came, weak on parm on top, and I was not asked if I'd like shredded parm. And I didn't ask because it should have been expected. The table next door ordered a pizza. Pizza came, and the attendant was summoned back to the table to request shredded parm and crushed pepper, common accompaniments to pizza. Ambiance: This location cannot compare to El Segundo or Costa Mesa. It's drab, no energy.

   I really appreciate the staff they were very welcoming and attentive. I usually dine at the Santa Monica location, but yesterday I was near the area and stop by for a quick bite. I ordered the pig pizza, delicious as always but it seems sloppy put together.

   Dining at North Italia in Cerritos was a delightful experience that made for a wonderful evening. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for a delicious Italian meal. We started with the Margherita pizza, which was beautifully crafted with a perfectly crispy crust and fresh, bright flavors from the tomatoes and basil. The Yellowtail Crudo was a refreshing highlight, with the fish being impeccably fresh and expertly plated. The Trottole Chicken Pesto was a standout for the main courses, offering a creamy, rich basil pesto that clung perfectly to the tender pasta. The Squid Ink Tonnarelli presented a unique and bold flavor profile that was intriguing and satisfying. The Chicken Parmesan was a delicious classic, featuring a crispy exterior and juicy interior, while the Tuscan Half Chicken was roasted to perfection, boasting a crispy skin and flavorful, moist meat. The service was attentive without being intrusive, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal.    I have been to other locations and this one was excellent. Service, food, drinks were all top notch. I will drive the extra 2-3 miles to visit this location in the future.

   High quality Italian food. We were greeted by the manager, Michelle, who was friendly and attentive. Our server, Celina, was excellent. Everyone that comes to your table does so with a smile and a genuine willingness to serve and assist you. If there is negative, it's absolutely the parking. It's VERY difficult to find parking as the Cerritos Mall is ALWAYS packed.
