We live in the area and were going out for Thanksgiving Dinner . The restaurant is beautiful from the outside and there’s a lot of good word of mouth regarding the food . We were greeted and seated as soon as we came in the door and our order was taken reasonably fast . We had wine with our price fixed dinners which included appetizers, entrees , and desserts. Everything was hot delicious and beautifully plated . When it came to dessert we weren’t offered coffee first and we would have also ordered espresso martinis but the waiter plopped the desert down and never came back .We even asked someone to get our waiter so we could place a drink order but they never came back . I think they definitely dropped the ball at the end but our tip was generous and we were polite but I think we may give this place another try one day just on the basis of the food itself . After the first two courses we were ghosts , so we’ll see . Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

We have been 2x recently and love this restaurant. It opened about 6 months ago. I had the halibut special and it was delicious. Guacamole to start and also I love their roasted carrots and cauliflower small plate. Great place!

I went to Oak and Vine last night with two other couples. I know this address has been home to a number of other restaurants. The decor was nice and fresh and noise level low-moderate. The menu has something for everyone, including a number of daily specials. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. There is a wide variety of wines, beers, specialty cocktails and mocktails. We started with homemade corn bread (not to be missed). Caesar salads, roasted carrots and cauliflower with ricotta and delicious crusty , toasted bread. For the mains, mussels, tomato soup with grueyer cheese, homemade pasta with seafood and sliced steak . Everyone raved about their meals. Our waitress made sure we were satisfied and our water glasses filled. Two thumbs up.

The bourbon burger was awesome. The carmalized onions on top had such a great flavor. The tuna tartare was dark pink and could have tasted better but over all the restaurant was very good.

The place is beautiful with a cool vibe. The service at the host stand was sub par. The hostess didn’t understand my name as we checked in and when asked if we could sit she said the manager was the one who did that. I made my reservation 2 weeks prior to the date and they wanted to stick us in a private room for 8 people They did seat us in the main dining room finally but we had to deal with the other group who were to sit there. They gave us rude comments when walking by and while we were seated. The service took quite long to get water and drinks. The food came out in a timely manor. The appetizers were very good. The main dishes were not. The chicken lacked flavor and a bit undercooked. The 2 orders of pasta were just not good. The tuna was overcooked and when asked the waiter if this was the way it was suppose to be he said yes. Dessert (cheese cake) was not good . The clincher of the evening was paying the bill. It was split 3 ways and one card was charged 3 times, 1 card charged more then it was suppose to and it took almost 20 minutes for them to figure out what to do. Over all this was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in until we left. Service confused, manager not attentive seemed overwhelmed and food needs help.

Overall, for a Saturday night, it was a nice place to go. We were seated on time at 7:30 even though the restaurant was crowded. Perhaps not the best table, but as we walked out it seemed to music was quite loud so probably for the best. Drinks were very good. In some restaurants I question whether they really put alcohol in the drink, but there was no question here that they did. One app had to be sent back, the octopus was so chewy he could barely swallow. 2 of us had the rainbow carrots and cauliflower with ricotta, and it was easily shareable so I shared with the person who had the octopus sent back. The branzino main was excellent. Pork chop also very good and properly brined, which you can tell some restaurants don’t do. Skirt steak was fine, no problem subbing broccolini for truffle fries. The pea and mushroom risotto was so garlicky the person couldn’t eat it. Both dishes were removed from the bill without being requested to do so. Service was spotty, but again a busy Saturday night.

My food arrived cold and by the time the waitress came back to me. It was too late for me to even want to ask to get it warmed up.

Tonight’s experience was terrible. I was here two weeks ago on a Saturday night and it was packed, food was great, service was great. Tonight was the exact opposite: no one was there. It’s a Thursday night. We got there for happy hour and we’re informed that happy hour is no longer happening during the “holidays“. By the way, it’s only November 14 so I don’t know which holiday they’re referring to, but it’s not yet the “holidays“. So I checked their website and showed them that on their website the happy hour pricing page: 2 for one or you can use the other one at another time. They refused to give it. Even though I’m showing them on their website it still exists. That is legally false advertising. Plain and simple. The bartender explained that they’re so busy they don’t need the happy hour, while the manager later explained that they’re not busy enough even despite having a happy hour. So it’s all lie and I think no one is there because it all fell apart. Also, my skirt steak sucked. Our waiter was the best thing that happened. Thanks for the carrot and cauliflower free appetizer, sir. I hope that the waiter can get a better gig somewhere else because I don’t know what happened to Oak & Vine… I’m not coming back.
