   My third time here and the food continues to be consistent. The service is very dependent on your server though the bus boy was excellent. I will not try the bar area again as it seems the waiters/waitresses are not as attentive. I was le to believe that they kept a profile on guess but not sure if I misunderstood.

   Great experience started with a kitchen view booth. The stellar service started with the descriptions of the favorite appetizers and dishes. It was super hard to make a choice but we did the wedge salad, 45 day bone-in ribeye, corn brûlée, au gratin potatoes, asparagus, vanilla cake, meatballs, filets, oysters Rockefeller and a mojito cocktail. WOW!!! John took excellent care of us. The vanilla cake was my clients choice since we were celebrating his birthday. Ever single thing was delicious! The water flowed, they followed up with drink orders in a timely manner. The bread was sinful. It is a gastrofeast!!

   Excellent. From the greeting of the valet, the hostess, waiter, etc, everyone made us feel welcome. The menu had great choices for drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and sides We had Branzino, crab cakes , potatoes and crème brûlée corn. All were delicious with generous portions.

   Our first time here and we had high hopes as I've heard that the previous owner of Mastros opened this restaurant up. We loved Mastros, but they haven't been the same since reopening from the pandemic. I will start that that the place is gorgeous. Definitely has the upscale vibe/ambiance. To be honest though, it was downhill from there. Here were some of the things that influenced our decision to not return: - checked in early, table not available. totally fine, until other groups were being seated before us, even those arriving AFTER our reservation time and still being seated before us. Horrible optics, and I had to approach the hostess to ask about our table. Could have saved face by approaching us to let us know there was a delay. Also received no eye contact when answering me....yeeesh. -I am bothered that I could not swap out vodka for gin for one of their martinis...that seems a bit ridiculous considering that martinis are either vodka or gin. They told me that the martini on the menu is made with a large batch. But then also, make it single handedly if you have all the ingredients? -their bread offerings taste like Pillsbury dough rolls -steaks were good, not exciting though, needed more seasoning/salt. Husband enjoyed his baked potato. -after dinner, there was a LONG lull before we could order dessert, to the point that we were going to bail without dessert and I think they realized the error because they offered it on the house. it ended up being just okay. -there seemed to be an overall inattentiveness that I don't think matches the upscale restaurants we've been to before, such as noticing our water is sparkling water (tried filling with still), and when we were out of sparkling water not asking if we want another bottle. Also, not necessarily an issue just an oddity, the music would jump around the decades which just doesn't match the upscale feeling you want when you dine at places like this. Felt disjointed, albeit we liked most the songs

   I’ll stick to steak 48. “Shells and cheese” taste like craft, hair on my plate, steak was under cooked even after I gave instructions.

   Ambience was the best part of this restaurant. Food was okay. We tried various appetizers, salads and entrees between the 4 of us. I’d say the Caesar salad was the best item. But Nothing that would make me want to go and have again. Service was not in line with what you would expect given the prices. Worst rule is that they don’t allow you to go to the bar and get a cocktail while waiting for your table. They make you stand near the hostess stand and tell you a cocktail server will come. Never did. So we Walked to restaurant next door to wait. Should have just eaten dinner at that restaurant instead.

   We celebrated my son's 21st birthday this past weekend. The valet personnel rushed us out of the car. The restaurant itself looks beautiful outside and inside. The service was awesome. The steaks that were ordered needed more flavor. We asked for sea salt to sprinkle on top and the fish lacked texture..but all of the appetizers and raw bar dishes were perfect! I was surprised that the restaurant itself did offer anything complimentary for birthdays. But overall, I would come back and order from the raw bar.
