If my mom hadn't reminded them about my birthday, I don't think they would have said anything, even after you advised them in the reservation that you were Celebrating a birthday! I would think when you spend $250 you could give a piece of cake for the persons bday???

We visited during the Santa Sippin pop up event. It was perfect! Christmas theme and music with heaters made the night beautiful.
