   I'd been eyeing this place since last year, but finally snagged a table for my sister's birthday last night. As a pescatarian, I was delighted by the variety of seafood dishes. The prawns were a standout. Don't let the small plates fool you, they're deceptively filling! We ordered about 1-2 dishes of each item on the £50 menu between 3 of us and were stuffed. Each dish was a flavour explosion! The chickpea curry was perfect. Our servers, were incredibly attentive and friendly. The vegetarian soup was a comforting blend, while the saltfish fritters were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. My siblings raved about the chicken soup as well!

   I've been waiting to come here with my friends and it definitely didn't disappoint. The food was 10/10 and the staff were really friendly. The rum punch was made to beat us up - exactly what we wanted for a girls night

   This did not meet our expectations. This felt like the kids were cooking dinner for their parents birthday rather than a dining experience. Food was too spicy (we are caribbean people) and staff were quite dismissive and lacked experience hosting and how to handle complaints. Food plates were scolding hot without warning. Oxtail and ackee rice was great. Prawns and chicken soup too spicy. Lamb chops too tough.

   Personally not a great experience for me - they seemed understaffed so waited a while and had to sit ourselves down before being acknowledged. We were then told by a waiter that the manager said we have to wait at the door next time - although we were waiting into our reservation time. When we were seated we weren’t given menus so I had to go and get one myself and work out how each menu worked before the waiter came over to explain. Food was decent and good portion sizes but slightly overpriced in comparison to other Caribbean restaurants. We also ended up sitting in the dark as t he waiter didn’t put the light on in the corner of the room we were sitting - it was when the chef left that she offered to turn the light on for us. Staff were pleasant other than that. Probably wouldn’t go again or recommend to others. Would recommend the waiters undergoing some hospitality training as other customers made comments about the bad service.

    After reading some reviews we were a little apprehensive, but we thought the food and service was great and would definitely go back. We had the £30 each Sunday deal for 4 guest and there was so much great food and options to choose from. Our only comment was £5 for a tin of red stripe was a bit steep.
