                                My husband ranted about the veal which was super tender! The squash soup was delicious and the raspberry dessert was also a hit. Our service was fabulous as well!

                                Service was excellent, but food was mediocre at best. The oysters were poorly cleaned and gritty. The lingcod was poorly cooked and mushy. We both had stomach issues next day. Disappointing.

                                My husband and I had a lovely Sunday brunch at Old Vines. We live in Ottawa Ontario but come to the Okanagan to ski for several weeks every winter. Quail’s gate is one of our favourite wineries and we try to always come for a meal at the restaurant. It never disappoints. My husband loves cassoulet and it just happened to be the chef’s special on the day we visited. He wasn’t sure about having poached eggs on top, but our kind server Tony suggested that he could have them on the side. The cassoulet met all my husband’s expectations and then some. I had the classic eggs Benedict which were also delicious.
