Our house has served many functions in its past - a post office, a general store, a filling station - and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life& milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!

We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients by our Executive Chef. Visit our Attic Bar for live music Thursday through Saturday nights!

    The food was not what was expected! The collard greens were over seasoned, the brussell sprouts were not trimmed properly (stems were left on them and tough), and the fried green tomatoes were not cooked long enough. The inside of the restaurant appeared unkept: cabinets dirty and stained. You have to go through the bar area to get to the bathrooms and there are several tripping hazards on the way. My elderly mother almost fell going to the bathroom. The service was adequate. They brought three of our meals and the fourth was brought several minutes afterwards. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not return or recommend to this restaurant.

    The old Vinings inn is my go to restaurant if I want a nice meal and great service. And the old house is so charming. I just keep coming back.

    Good and ambiance were wonderful, service was a little slow. Bread and desert took a little longer than usual. Entrees were perfect and sooo delicious!
