   We ordered from the Aperativo menu. We shared 2 choices plus a pizza and wine. All were delicious. Such a good deal.

   I brought my Dad who turned 91 today...for a special Birthday lunch... The food was excellent. The space is elegant, eclectic and beautifully considered. Our server was very sweet and obviously a lovely person who is great with people. Ways our experience could've been better? It would've been nice to have each course consistently explained. The gift of our drinks my husband phoned in was not applied to our check. HOT coffees There were awefully long pauses between courses ... Cheers, Julia Spittel

   I am a devoted frequent “flyer” @ Oretta Midtown since its’ inception. I come at least once or twice monthly. I have mobility issues & use a walker. Never, ever have the doors worked for those with mobility issues. I have raised this w/ management staff on countless occasions. Your service staff are lovely. If you have absolutely no intention of fixing the doors, please say so, honestly & with conviction & I shall take my patronage elsewhere. Please do not humour me. Be transparent & honest. This I know to be true after 2 solid years of patronage. I don’t wish to hear privately on email if you have no intention. I shall take this to the Ontario Human Rights commission if I must.    We have been to oretta on multiple occasions, the food is always consistent and great. This time our server Niko was amazing and the Gm Niko went above and beyond to make the experience of our group and unforgettable one. 20/10 for food, service and hospitality.

   It’s a nice place, very big with lots of warm lighting. Servers are friendly and can be responsive, although sometimes because of how busy it is it may be a little slow. The food was ok. I got the steak and eggs. I asked for medium rare and it came out that way however the crust was very charred to the point where 7 bites out of 10 tasted burnt. It was a 6oz steak so after cooking it turned out to be maybe 4 oz. I say all that to say that the portion seemed really small for steak, eggs and potatoes. I could put my hand over it and cover the whole meal. I enjoyed the cannoli and the bottomless mimosas. Server was really kind. My friend is vegan and they don’t really have many options to support that preference so she got avocado toast without eggs. All in all it was decent, I think they may be better at Pizza and Pasta as opposed to brunch though. I’d still give it 2.5-3 / 5.

    We asked for over hard eggs on the avocado toast and received runny eggs until we reminded the server, who promptly brought out the right order. We also had the bottomless mimosa service but the server tried to clear our glasses before the 1.5 hours were over and we were still waiting for our dessert. The Che Fame burger was amazing and our server was very sweet. We were also able to get side orders of scrambled eggs and avocado for our toddler. Delicious desserts including the gelato and white chocolate bombalone.
