    La clase comienza con una breve introducción impartida por el chef Rodolfo; donde platicará con el grupo acerca de los platillos y recetas a cocinar, así como los ingredientes que se utilizarán en la preparación. Una vez organizados, se trasladan todos a la central de abastos para realizar la compra de insumos. Al finalizar las compras de mercado regresan al restaurante para iniciar la preparación de cada platillo. Cocinarán todos juntos bajo las instrucciones y consejos que el chef les dará durante todo el proceso.     Extremely disappointing. They moved location recently and so the historical positive reviews are no longer valid. I reserved believing it was still the original location where friends had positive experiences and recommended it. The restaurant is dull with minimal ambience, the food is ordinary by Oaxaca standards, wilting salad leaves showed just not fresh standard, the kitchen looked temporary, no tasting menu ( which was at the old location), service was muddled, dead roses on the table. Then a premium price to even the Michelin one star restaurants in town. Apparently a new management and food team with the old brand name in new location. We felt we had been deceived. So much better other choices now in Oaxaca.

    We had the roast pork loin, which was excellent. Lovely setting. My big complaint has to do with the wine prices. There was no mention of wine by the glass. When I asked for 2 glasses of white wine, they actually said they had that. When I got the bill, the cost of each was around $15.00 each. We had eaten in many other restaurants in Oaxaca and had not had that kind of charge for what tasted like a house wine.

    La comida es buena, pero sobrevalorada. El lugar deja mucho que desear, está bastante descuidado y tiene un aspecto sucio. Te piden una tarjeta para hacer la reservación y no estaba ni a la mitad de su capacidad. Únicamente tienen dos opciones de vino tinto. En general le falta capacitación a los empleados, llegamos y nadie nos recibió.

    Me pareció uno de estos lugares donde te cobran caro y te sirven escaso, la comida de muy buen sabor. Pero por el precio nos quedamos hambrientos. Varias cosas del menú no tenían (cosas tan básicas como Sprite para mezclar un cóctel) el vino blanco no lo tenían frío, muchos mezcales. El lugar lindo y tranquilo, la gente muy amable

    The food was excellent… provided one kept pace with the blistering pace of the courses. Our first drinks arrived mere moments before the appetizers. The mains were placed on the table (getting cold) while we were still enjoying the appetizers. We were literally still on those first beers by the time dessert was tabled. Such a missed opportunity to showcase their beverage menu. They need to slow down. We mentioned this to the staff member who took payment who made no apology - even that feedback to them was hurried as they nodded and even completed my sentence in saying it was too fast. Ambience was neat, a hidden courtyard, although the lighting was a bit collegiate and overdone. With a few adjustments this place could be a gem.

    La ubicación de la aplicación está equivocada, tuvimos que correr al otro lado del andador para llegar. Al llegar no había mucho orden. El servicio no fue el mejor, pero la comida estaba deliciosa.

    Excellent dinner. Loved the tomato carpaccio style salad as well as the cauliflower dish. The main of beef cheek was superb. Loved the outdoor, courtyard environment. Friendly, helpful staff just a bit slow on service, especially at the end when time came to pay. Otherwise very good & would recommend to others.

    Origin is in a new place. We loved it on prior trips--a bit out of the way, but interesting. Now nearer to the center of action. Place was interesting, but not very inviting. Seemed too spartan. We had a 5 pm start--we saw immediately it was since they had a large party of on a Oaxaca tour. When we arrived, it seemed like they were not ready. We waited a long time to get drinks. Some didn't come with others. Then it seemed like we were abandoned. Finally I had to go to the kitchen and ask for service because they were all in a meeting to plan for the large group. Made me disappointed. When orders were taken, by 3rd or 4th person to wait on us, service was OK, but nothing special. Definitely different from other Oaxaca top spots where the server interactions can be most enjjoyable. Food was fine, but a dinner with bad service is never as much fun. I'm guessing better when they don't have a crowd of 30, but really at a 5 star restaurant you expect more. Chairs were pretty uncomfortable too. Sad to write a negative review on a place I have liked on prior occasions.
