   How many restaurants offer full wine bottles at retail prices?? I can’t think of one, where I come from. Wonderful assortment of red and whites to complement the highly curated menu. Entrees were generous and fresh! Gluten free substitutions welcome. And if it’s not on their menu the waitress said “we can make anything you want.” Amazing food and drink at reasonable prices.

   We were so excited go try this new spot next door to its sister restaurant that we love. Unfortunately, the food was just bad. We started with the truffle fries and calamari both were in desperate need of seasoning. Then between us we had the salmon - undercooked risotto, the chicken Parmesan- the sauce was so bad that the person couldn’t eat it at all and the salads we ordered were mushy and over dressed. The service was ok. Although twice, plates were taken from us while we were mid bite, fork in hand. I would save your money and skip this one.

   From start to finish our server was pushy and aggressive. I ordered a salad to have before my entree and never got it: when I mentioned it he was going to get it then but I didn’t want it then. My friend’s steak was all grizzle . After she told our waiter, he came back telling her he had ordered another for her. He never asked her if she wanted another or something else. She didn’t want it so he yelled across the room into the kitchen to stop the steak. When the bill came the steak was still on there. After I addressed it, he took it off. This is a 1 and done.

   Much better this time. Waitress excellent. Food off HRW menu was great. We had the fried chicken and the A/C was blowing cold! Much happier experience overall.

   Not quite the normal experience. I tried the brunch event preceding the Astros game. Place was uncomfortably warm. Almost like A/C wasn’t working. Pretty much made for an unpleasant experience which is not what I have encountered ever. I dine here with clients often before games. Probably would guess at least 15-20 times a year. Add to that the very loud live music this time (for brunch), I’ll have to really reconsider using it as a normal hangout before games.

   My husband and I dined here as a little date night during our trip. Food was great. Service was quick and the people were very nice. Loved it here will be coming back on future trips.

   I called ahead to make sure we could do the Houston Restaunt week menu on Saturday and they said no problem. They wouldn’t honor that because they said they were only doing brunch menu which is what we had planned to select off of the Houston Restraunt menu. They had a huge fan that was going which was blowing the table cloth and very noisy. Not the atmosphere we had planned for a nice brunch/lunch before the theater. Food was fine just nothing special.

   Great place to have a meal and drinks before an Astros games. Locations really close to minute maid park. We use it all the time.
