As always, the food was excellent, and the halibut/crab special was perfect. The only complaint I would have been that the lobster bisque I wanted never arrived. The server was tremendous and the bar responsive to requests for additional drinks. I highly recommend this venue for anybody in the Louisville area seeking great seafood.

Excellent! We went for a NYE dinner and the food was fantastic. Service was great as well. I highly recommend the beet & burrata salad…delicious!! Osterio is high on my list of go-to dining in Louisville!

We went to kick off our New Years Eve celebration and it was the best meal all year! The food was exceptional especially the lobster rolls. The service was outstanding. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledge (shoutout to our server, Judy). The chef and manager even came by to say hi to us and wish us a happy new year. My girlfriend got the crab stuffed halibut and is still talking about it the next day. I ordered the ciopinno and it was so flavorful. Overall very excited to find this restaurant and we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

The oysters are great, it is a beautiful place. We went on a holiday and the service was very slow. We did not get our wine until we finished our oysters. There was a bottle of wine mistakenly added to our bill and we only had individual glasses.

What an amazing New Year's Eve experience, and the really cool thing is the as always Osteria Italian Seafood owner Jarred Fox Matthews kept his regular daily menu, and added a couple of great specials but did absolutely zero markup. Top to bottom , Chef Seth and his team as well as the front of the house crew preformed at a 5 star level as always. In a foodie city busting at the seams with so many amazing fine dining choices, this hot spot holds the flag at the the top of the heap.

My wife and I dine at this restaurant frequently. This last time, while the food tasted good, the quantity of the servings had been reduced or seemed to be. We were a little disappointed because this has been our favorite restaurant in Louisville.
