Been wanting to try Osteria and finally took my girlfriend on her birthday. We shared baked shrimp scampi, lobster bisque, mussels marinara, and jumbo shrimp limone--all very delicious. The cocktails, a black Manhattan and something with limoncello, were also great. The service was solid, and the airy dining room is pleasant and lively. We appreciated the complimentary birthday cannoli, but I am glad we weren't paying the $12 menu price for it. I would return.

Chrissy, our server always had a smile on her. She was like that with all of her tables. Definitely one of my favorite waitstaff I’ve ever had. She had great recommendations for drinks and food. We enjoyed everything. A great restaurant with a cozy outdoor and enjoyable live entertainment.

We went to Osteria to celebrate Mother's Day a couple of weeks late. We were a party of six and ate outside. All of the food was fantastic, especially the blood orange creme brulee!!! But what set the experience apart was the service. Every person we came in contact with was helpful and pleasant. They provided recommendations, made sure the sun didn't beat down us, and anticipation all our needs. Our server Chrissy was wonderful!!

Busy Saturday night. Service was a little choppy because of that and the restaurant had some call-ins. But the food was on point. We started with the lobster bisque which was creamy and decadent. Nice pieces of lobster and a creative and delicious puff pastry lid. Husband had the scallops and I had the 20 layer lasagna. We shared. His scallops were on a bed of corn risotto and I believe there was lobster bisque underneath the risotto. 4 perfectly seared scallops were then layered on top of the risotto and on top of that was a sweet/salty bacon jam. Beautiful micro greens topped it all off Delicious dish. Only suggestion would be to use Benton's bacon in the jam. I was less enthusiastic about the lasagna. Good sauce combination but the noodles are the star in this dish. I guess I was expecting the thin, almost translucent lasagna noodles of Southern Italy. These were regular noodles I could get from a box. American noodles. But the tomato and pesto sauces were very good as was the Italian sausage. I'm going to have to learn to make noodles at home. Negronis were wonderful and the manager brought them to us, apologizing for the wait. No need for apologies; we were enjoying ourselves and listening to the live music. I was pleased to know that he was helping out! A good manager does that. We will definitely return. I had seen the head chef on a local TV show and liked his attitude. A good chef is more concerned about his dishes and presentation than mucking it up with personalities. He wasn't rude, but there was an edge. Drew me in! We had a nice time for our 43rd anniversary.

The food was very good, but when I order a meal titled scallops, I would expect to get some only to find shrimp. Would recommend renaming the entree!
