    This was my second time visiting. The first time we sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations. The second time we had reservations and celebrated my birthday. I enjoyed the three gentlemen that sang happy birthday. The food and dessert were good .

    Lovely birthday dinner with my wife. The service and food were excellent. Just two small things: the Vesper cocktail wasn’t quite right—seemed like the bartender hasn’t mastered it yet—and the espresso martini was a 2 out of 10. It really needed actual espresso, which they don’t have. Still, those considerations aside—5 stars!

    Decided to celebrate my birthday with my wife and daughter at the Palace Cafe. We were sat on the window side of the second floor, nice view of the street. We were given a cold “loaf” of bread with no way to cut it. We were disappointed in the crawfish fondue appetizer. I had the Pepper Duck and was pleasantly impressed with it. My wife had the Andouille Crusted fish. It was okay. The fish had almost no flavor, but was saved by the “Crystal beurre blanc” sauce. The kids fried shrimp dish had zero flavor and was fried with the tails on still. The Rum Cake and The Crème Brûlée were both solid desserts. Glad for the experience, probably won’t be returning.
