   We have been to the other locations in the city and this by far was the noisiest location. Also we had to asked for an item two times before it came around to our table even though we saw it come by multiple times, so that was a bit of a bummer. The cuts were a little more fatty than we have had previously as well so when you pay for meat and get fat it was also a bit disappointing.

   We had high hopes for our anniversary dinner at Pampa, especially since we booked well in advance and requested a nice table to celebrate. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. Despite our prior arrangements, we were seated next to a wall, while walk-in guests were given far better seats. The meat service, which is supposed to be the highlight of a Brazilian steakhouse, was infrequent and underwhelming. It felt like we were being encouraged to fill up on the salad buffet instead. To add to the disappointment, a staff member approached us, apologized, and asked what dessert we’d like. We assumed it was a gesture to make up for the lackluster experience and to acknowledge our special occasion. However, we were surprised to find the desserts added to our bill. For the price we paid, the quality of food and ambiance fell far short of expectations. It was an extremely expensive and underwhelming experience. In hindsight, The Keg would have been a much better choice—more affordable and with far superior service. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to Pampa.

   Great experience. So many choices of meat and sides that you feel you have to go more than once to try them all.

   I had a great experience for my birthday. My friends and me got to try a variety of great food. The service was excellent, food fesh and warm and the athmosphera was enjoyable. Thank you, will definetly visit again!

   The salad bar has so many delicious choices and the meat was amazing. It was a little loud but with several big groups that’s hard to avoid. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they brought his dessert out with a candle which was thoughtful. My only complaint is my husband wasn’t told there was a mandatory 18% gratuity on our bill and he wasn’t holding the bill when he paid. It was circled on the bill, but he ended up tipping twice. The coat check at the door was a nice touch, and the restaurant was cozy.

   My family and I recently dined at Pampas Ellerslie and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The meats were disappointingly low in quality, lacking the rich, smoky flavour that Brazilian is known for, the buffet style sides and salads were bland and uninspired. Service was fair but not memorable. While the staff was polite, they lacked the warmth and attentiveness one expects at a restaurant charging such steep prices. The meal was exorbitantly expensive for what was delivered, leaving me more frustrated than full.

   We had a nice time. The food was good atmosphere was good. Service was good. The only thing I noticed from the last time we were there was they used to have a ribeye cut and or a strip loin cut of beef (one or the other). This time they had neither. It’s a high-end restaurant. I expected they would have a ribeye or a strip loin in the meat cut lineup.
