Food was good. The bisque was really good, the blackened Rib Eye was average. They do serve the best Old Fashion. Service was really late on the salad. There was no New Year’s Eve ambiance. Just a normal night with a seasonal menu.

After delivering our water, waitress ended up also being the bartender. We watched her for about 10 minutes making drinks. Not even looking in our direction. Finally, wife hailed down another waitress. She finally came back and said she could take our order. You would think on NYE, the bartender wouldn't have to do double duty. Filet Mignon was very dry. I asked the waitress/server for a pat of butter. She seemed confused. I asked for the same butter that came on the mashed potatoes. It NEVER came. How hard is to get a pat of butter? 2nd.- I asked for Medium- came rare to medium rare. The middle parts were extremely rare. Wife's Chilean Sea Bass was good she said. Best part of the dinner was the apple pie ala-mode. First time, last time. NO bueno!

We have dined at Paul Martins on many occasions. Their Brick Chicken, one of the reasons, so we booked for New Years. Very disappointed to find out it was not on the menu for this night. Ordered their Chicken Parm hesitantly and Blackend Ribeye. Both were excellent! Service was slow for the amount of people at 6 PM. But had a nice time.

The entrees portion size are on the smaller size. I had short rib and the meat portion was small. Ditto for the salmon my wife ordered. In our opinion, the cost of nearly $40 per entree deserves a larger portion size. It took a long time to order drinks, and then receive them. Same with the reordering of another round of drinks. We (four of us) spent over $107 per person. We are NOT cheap and frugal diners, but feel the value wasn’t there. Food quality and drink quality was good.

Honestly, F this place. It was my bad taking word of waiting for a specific waiter when the service likely would have been the same from any of them. Came in dressed up for daughter’s 4th birthday, a tradition since she turned 1, excited to take her to a seemingly nice restaurant since she deserves it. I never bother with sit down restaurants anymore because the mark up is disgusting and adding 1/5th on top for gratuity drives me nuts, especially when they do the literal bare minimum in terms of interacting or making any semblance of an experience with us. I figured if the sign out front says “burgers” as it’s first known for item that it wouldn’t be as forgettable as it was but boy was I wrong. First, it’s a $21 hamburger. Want cheese? F you, $2. Want bacon? $2. Want them to not be translucent? Haha go somewhere else! This is a Flemings restaurant, we’re here to mark up everything and serve the literal bare minimum without you actively causing a scene. Disappointed in myself for not just going where I know the food doesn’t resemble McDonalds quality on a great day. Waited 20 minutes to get sat (my fault), 10 minutes to get a coke and order, another 20 minutes for ordered medium to come out med well and a Mac and cheese for my daughter with a “side” of fruit. Kick rocks, you cheap pieces of crap. That was like an 1/16th of an apple and a 1/4” slice of orange. Wasn’t expecting the world but you still under delivered. Last year went to Wood Ranch, spent the same for literally twice as much food and tipped her $20 for smiling and acknowledging my little girls special day before the last second asking what dessert she wanted. She’s 4 my guy. It’s always going to be vanilla ice cream with a GD candle. It’s not that difficult to make her smile. F this place.
