   Was a bit disappointed that our group of 4 was seated in a rather small booth in the bar area as there were already 5-6 other groups of customers seated in this area. The main restaurant was mostly empty. This also put a strain on the service aspect of our dinner as the bartender (our waitress), was busy filling drink orders for the rest of the restaurant. Food was great as always but the service end of things put a damper on dinner.

   Overall the evening was good. The appetizers were good to better than average. The drinks were fair however, I will say that the iced tea was the best iced tea. I’ve had in ages at a restaurant. The entrées were just OK. I had the halibut which was severely overcooked and dry it came with a seafood ravioli. That would’ve been good if the ravioli would’ve been warm and the cream Cajun sauce was a little hot and spicy. the chicken piccata was odd to say the least with tomatoes in a red cream sauce and capers and artichoke very interesting. Not good not bad. The pomegranate salmon just OK the tiramisu dessert while very large had a very dry layer of cake on the bottom good but still just OK. I don’t think the restaurant what it used to be as far as a restaurant but it’s probably still a solid choice for some just probably not us as we will probably not return.

   Paulo and Bill’s is still a very good local Italian restaurant. The food was very good. The taste was fantastic, but the portions were a little small for the price. Also, they don’t offer table bread, which is kind of expected at an Italian restaurant. The service was good and ambience was nice. I’d go back.

   The menu has changed since our last visit. I was ready to order the chicken lasagna, but it was no longer offered on the menu. Our waitress was obviously not well versed in fine dining service. She delivered my entree while I had gone to the restroom and placed it in front of my husband. His entre was delivered several minutes later. We had to request bread, and it was cold to the touch. We asked another waitress if it could be heated. It's unlikely that we'll return.

   The Chicken Picata is the best I’ve ever had and the Pomegranate Salmon is to die for!

   My family had a wonderful birthday experience my wife turned 69 and our grandkids were served with grace and loved the evening. We have been going to P & B for many years.

    The food was good. Calamari and lasagna were excellent. The farfalle was just fair. It really needs something else. Peas, prosciutto? Servers were just standing around, had to ask & wait twice for parmesean & pepper. And please do something about the tables! They are gross & sticky because something was used that ruined the finish.
