None truly embodies the true spirit of Ireland more than, Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Arlington Heights. What makes Peggy’s so unique is the fact that virtually every piece of the structure came directly from Ireland. All of the woodwork, including the bars themselves, were constructed and shipped directly from Ireland. Warm weather allows for tables outside around the beautiful perimeter. Children are welcome and free parking is available on the street and in a municipal garage just down the block. A professional staff, an inviting menu and an atmosphere that feels like Ireland all combine to make a visit to Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub an authentic and charming experience. Wonderfully varied menu. Great Irish food and more. Shepherds pie, salad, fish and chips, and burger were all enjoyed. Wish the noise level was lower.

We love Peggy’s. It’s more than just a local Irish pub. It’s whiskey selection is great. This time i had their shepherd’s pie. Nice deep gravy over the meat and veggies covered with an excellent potato top.

Service was very slow. We only saw our waitress 3 times at our table. Wasn’t knowledgeable about the menu and had no suggestions for entrées since some of us were never there. She never back back to ask about our dinner or to take another around of drinks. We had to ask the hostess for water at the table.

They would not honor the hours listed on the website listed via OpenTable for Happy Hour saying OpenTable was wrong. And although our reservation was 615 and the restaurant stated happy hour ended at 630 not the 7 pm time advertised they would not honor that pricing for our reservation. Again, we reserved for 615, they claimed happy hour pricing to 630 but would NOT honor pricing. Poor customer relations. Food average, drinks good, service....

We were greeted at the door and were promptly seated. Our server came immediately and took our drink order. Drinks were delivered promptly. Food order was taken and promptly delivered. Food was delicious and servings were generous. We had tickets to a performance at the Metropolis. Our checks were delivered promptly on request. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will happily return.
